Every day brings new possibilities. It portends novel ideas of plots and techniques to be used for writing and editing. New perspectives show themselves, providing suggestions for increasing efficiency, and designs for elevating the well-being of your mind and body.
Each day gives you a little bit, bringing you one step closer.
The development is gradual and the attitude, motivation and effort gradually adds up to create a body of work.
For this reason don’t worry if you think you were not productive one single day. It is a process, and each effort counts in the long run.
The end of the day underpins negativity. By then you are totally enervated. Often you have not achieved your goals for the day (caused by imprudent timelines), and whatever you pull off does not register itself due to the exhaustion. You think you are shit. But it’s not true.
Kyunki raat ki baat kabhi sach nahi hoti; subeh zarur koi tarkib nikal jaegi. (a common except I read in Russian fairy tales)
The next morning, when you are well rested, have taken a long cold shower, and guzzled a cup of stimulating lemon lavender mint tea, you are recharged. There is fresh hope and drive, and the potential seems endless. So don’t beat yourself up in the night, when the demon is speaking to you.
You should never consider an attempt at something to be useless. You are never wasting time; each endeavor and knowledge comes good.
At the bare minimum, YOU ARE PRACTICING BUSINESS WRITING, CREATIVE WRITING, AND SPEAKING TECHNIQUES. The fact that these efforts result in a blog is an additional incentive.
The promise of a book transpiring out of the whole process is a stimulus to put your best foot forward.
It is the prize, but not the only reward.
