I am finally doing something.
And not thinking about doing something.
I have started creating media, whereas all my life I have only been a rapacious media devourer.
Whatever I read or watch or listen can inform my own product. Noticing how others create content will give me more perspective. Like Neil Gaiman (an author) said, inspiration can come from anywhere. He was deeply inspired by Lou Reed, the lead singer and lyricist of The Velvet Underground (a rock band).
I closely watch and take artistic cues from the lead commentators of English Premier League matches (notably Peter Drury and Jim Proudfoot), and some youtubers (Korean Englishman, JOLLY, Gabbie Kook).
I have added to this list; actively observing the details of the novels I am reading (I am currently reading Rage of Angels- Sidney Sheldon and Midnight's Children - Salman Rushdie) and the movies/shows I am watching (just watched Tenet) as guides for understanding how people conceive and deliver ideas.
