Some practices/techniques help me in reaching my peak condition and staying there. They (in no particular order) are-
1. 7-9 hours of sleep. Preferably starting at 1 AM.
2. Extended cold showers.
3. Lemon mint lavender tea.
4. 5-15 minutes indoor exercise.
5. Anulom vilom pranayama.
6. Deep breathing.
7. 1 hour walk in the evening.
8. Power napping for 30 minutes (optional).
This is the gold standard, at least for me.
Points 2, 4, and 5 can be performed, in any permutation and combination, multiple times in a day (each in a 15 minute bundle). They help me focus on the job and hand, clear the clutter in the head, and provide the body with more oxygen.
Additional activities that are helpful are-
1. Using sleep casts on the headspace app for falling asleep.
2. Performing Reiki before sleeping.
3. Using supplements such as Vitamin B, brahmi, and ashwagandha
4. Eating smaller meals, especially in afternoons.
5. Including protein sources such as chana and eggs for feeling energized all day.
