It’s half time.
Villarreal are doing to Liverpool what The Mighty Reds did to (or what everyone seems to do to) Barcelona.
The club that likes to call itself the Yellow Submarine plays its home games out of the similarly brilliantly named stadium called la Cerámica.
The most astonishing aspect of the stadium is it has enough capacity to adjust about half the entire population of the Spanish town of Villareal (which inhabits about 50 thousand people).
The fans cheer more for their players when they are losing a game than when they are winning.
They manage the above mentioned absurdities through the sheer force of will, and the shocking power of hope.
I wouldn’t mind if we lost……………………..
